Vitage "Red Flower" Pillbox 1960's
Here is a tiny treasure awaiting a new home!
This small box was one of several I have collected when I found them throughout antique fairs in New York City.
The box features a gold metal lid which is bejewled with "flower" made of coral stones that have silver centers. The smaller flowers seem to have centers that appear opaque, but I am not sure whether these are semi-precious stones or something sythetic.
The actual box seems to be made of Bakelite, or somethig similar. The inside of the box is gold-gilded, as is the inside of the lid.
A VERY UNIQUE atique item!
