ANTIQUE TURQUOISE PILLBOX

And now, a bit of antique goodness.

This tiny lovely is an antique pillbox dated to 1929. It is one of several I have collected throughout the years, when I found them throughout antique fairs in New York City.

The oval, gold colored pillbox has hammered/raised relief designs at the top and four turquoise decorations that seem to be the "middle" for each group of "flower petals." The sides of the box also have a hammered designs all the way around, and the hinged top opens to reveal the inside, which is in good condition. There is one side of the box that seems to have a slash/small opening at the seam of the bottom of the box, but this does not go all the way through and I did not discern any damage on the inside of the pillbox.
