Buddha Statue and Candle Holder

For lovers of Eastern religions or cultures, meditation mavens, Buddhists, and people who love certain art and cultures, here is a statue of Buddha for your consideration.

This statue was purchased by my sister during her travels through Asia. This statue appears copperish, and is rather heavy, but I do not believe it is made of metal and I am unsure if it is made of wood.

The statue depicts a closed eyed Buddha in a cross-legged position with his hands resting with palms open upward. There is circular "holder area behind the palms so that you may place a candle or an offering there. It appears the "candleholder" area is large enough to hold a tealight sized candle.
