Dusty Lavender Scarf

And now, a perfect addition to the summer wardrobe: this summer chiffon scarf!

This dusty lavender summer scarf was originally produced in Turkey, then purchased from the Urkraine. It is made of a soft chiffon lavender material and printed with many purple and reddish flowers with green leaves.

This scarf is longer than the average "babuska" or wool shawl worn by some Eastern European women today. Traditionally, folk shawls/kerchiefs were worn to cover the head, shoulders and even around the waist in some cases.

You may use this scarf a number of ways: use as a fashionable neck scarf or headband, wrap your hair, use as a hipscarf, or decorate the tops of your tables or dressers.
